Althardt's Railroad Garden Open House, a private garden
The garden club was issued an invitation in 2008 to view the private railway garden of Ronald and Gayle Althardt.
It was a fantastic peek into a miniature world of rail and landscapes. There are about 1500 feet of track which is the equivalent of 8 ½ scale miles winding around ponds, waterscapes and miniature villages. The garden setting itself was impressive as well.
Again in 2009, our club has received another invitation. We are excited to view it again and see what changes have been made. Watch the slideshow below from last season to get the flavor of it.
This is a private garden. Viewing is by permission of the owner only.
